The 32-year-old was on ITV’s Daybreak this morning with co-presenter Olly Murs to discuss The X Factor finale but Kate Garroway couldn’t resist probing the Xtra Factor host on her relationship with the 17-year-old heartthrob.

She put it to her straight and asked: ‘Harry, One Direction, are you in love or just friends?
After a bout of awkward laughter, Flack did not deny the relationship and coyly replied: ‘Ummm..he’s really nice.

‘He’s a lot younger than me which some people say is a bit strange. But do you know what? He’s a really nice guy and we have a lot of fun hanging out together and hey, what’s wrong with that?’

The admission comes just days after the tired looking 1D star was spotted leaving Caroline’s north London home after reportedly spending the night.

Harry is said to have arrived there at 10pm the night before with an overnight bag.
