One Direction singer Harry Styles has reportedly been given a talking to by their management team.

The teenager has allegedly been spending time apart from his bandmates and partying with DJ Nick Grimshaw and other stars.

When on tour the lads are tight, but their team are worried that Harry is starting to move away from Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.

The management’s fears were increased when Styles decided to move into his own apartment, after sharing with Louis.

A source told Heat magazine: “Harry has been given a dressing down in recent weeks.

“It was noted that he’d broken away from the band a bit and, with their American tour in progress and dates in Australia to follow, the boys really need to be acting like a unit.”

One Direction have enjoyed international success and their US tour is going well.

The insider added: “The boys are set to become the biggest boyband in the world this year and it’s no time for individual egos.

“This was made very clear to Harry. He was told he needs to start being a team player and that’s that.”

Styles and his bandmates Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne are currently in North America supporting US boyband Big Time Rush.

Harry told The Sun: “To come over here and see that so many people know all the songs on an album that isn’t even out yet is unbelievable.

“Not many people get to do what we do in England, so for us to come over here and be able to perform to crowds like this is amazing and humbling.”

The 18-year-old claimed that their American fans are as enthusiastic as the crowds in the UK.

He added: “There is one girl who constantly messages us on twitter.

“She has been at every hotel we have been to in America so far, trying to lure us on a night out.”

After their tour in North America the lads are to head over to Australia and New Zealand for some dates in April.

Malik told the Herald Sun: “We can’t wait to come Down Under and meet everyone that has supported us.”

Styles added: “You guys have been amazing and have supported us since day one, so thank you.”

But One Direction’s U.S. management are trying to make Harry Styles into the lead singer, with sources saying boybands in America that have a recognised frontman tend to make it bigger than those that don’t.

A source told The Daily Star: ‘Columbia music execs are rubbing their hands with glee. It looks like One Direction are going to be absolutely massive in America.
‘They decided long ago that Harry is a natural frontman. He’s funny, confident and has a great voice.’

But the group are keen to stick together.
A friend told the newspaper: ‘They are determined to carry on the way they have been – without a lead singer. Harry certainly hasn’t asked for all this attention.’

According to the Sun, he said: ‘Katherine’s been in the studio watching us. Imagine having Arnie as your dad-in-law.’

Then, doing his best Arnie impression, Harry added: ‘Leave my house if you want to live.’

The previous day, Katherine tweeted: ‘Just watched my first One Direction video with my cousin and @Harry_Styles is a cutie indeed!’
It was revealed last week that harry had broken up with his cougar lover Caroline, 32, after three months together.
He wrote on twitter: ”Please know I didn’t “dump” Caroline. This was a mutual decision. She is one of the kindest, sweetest people I know.’
Miranda clearly had a good time on set, tweeting afterwards: ‘Had a lotta fun yesterday w/ @NiallOfficial @Harry_Styles @zaynmalik Louis_Tomlinson and Real_Liam_Payne! It’s gonna be a funny episode!’
And hundreds of U.S. fans were waiting for the band at LAX airport and hundreds more have been camped at their hotel.
Harry said: ‘We have had to use the hotel service lift. There are girls in the main lift the whole day, just going up and down hoping to bump into us.’

The group have not yet released any music yet but pre-orders for their debut album are massive.

They will this month soon go on a U.S. tour with boyband Big Time Rush.
