Directed by Morgan Spurlock, the One Direction 3D movie promises a peek behind-the-scenes at what it’s like to be One Direction.

While we’ll never know exactly what it’s like to be Niall, Liam, Zayn, Louis or Harry, the 1D3D movie will give Directioners so much more of a personal glimpse into each of their personalities.

The One Direction guys shot some footage in New York City in December and Tokyo last month, and will have plenty more video to rack up when they kick off their Take Me Home world tour beginning February 23 in London.

Niall had told MTV News that Morgan was a good choice for the One Direction 3D movie because of his work on documentary films.

He explained that the 1D3D film would be a documentary, because “we wanted to get our personalities across because the fans know us, but we want them to know us deeper.”

Liam noted, “I think he’s [Morgan] come up with a lot of interesting concepts and stuff for films, so it’s just going to be really exciting to work with him and see what he comes out of the bag for us.”

The 1D3D movie trailer shown on the Today show this morning gave a new extended preview of the upcoming One Direction movie coming out in August.

In the trailer shown on the Today show, Directioners get another look at the hotly anticipated movie.

The 1D3D movie promises the opportunity for fans to “see the world through their eyes,” showing some of the amazing behind-the-scenes footage of their Madison Square Garden show, as we hear about how, even though they’re missing their families, they’ve “become literally like brothers.”

Sniffle.

The movie’s release date is August 30, 2013. It’s going to be one hot summer!

The idea of seeing any member of One Direction in any sort of intimate situation is enough for us to make a noise that isn’t human. We’d immediately apologise for it straight after, don’t worry.

So get ready for some weird sounds people, as 1D are going to reveal “intimate moments” in their 3D film. *Hold us, hold us now.*

Speaking to Heat mag, Zayn Malik revealed: “It’s just going to be the stuff you don’t get to see, the day to day waking up in the morning, actually travelling.”

“Intimate moments,” added Louis Tomlinson. *We hope you’re holding us.*

Zayn continued: “To the places we travel, exactly those intimate night times, Louis, thank you.” (Yes, thank you Louis thank you forever.) “The bits you don’t see, the bits in between.”

To which Liam Payne explained that Directioners will get to see that they’re actually just “big d**kheads.” Beautiful.

So how are you feeling about the prospect of seeing the boys in 3D? Will you have to take a team of strong men along to restrain you when you try and climb into Harry’s nostrils?

The One Direction cover of Blondie’s hit “One Way or Another” was recorded for Comic Relief Red Nose Day, and won’t be released until February 17.

Listen while you can (we recommend multiple listens), because we’re sure this won’t be around for long.

There’s so much goodness here for Directioners. Wow, do Liam, Niall, Zayn, Harry and Louis sound fantastic or what?

Of course, since this is a charity single, we have to recommend that you buy it when it’s available–no doubt, 1D won’t have any trouble with sales of “One Way or Another.”

We admit we’re pretty excited about One Direction’s cover of “One Way or Another”–and were beyond thrilled to get to hear just a snippet of it.

Sadly, we have to wait until February 17 for the Comic Relief Red Nose Day charity single to be released, but this makes the waiting just a little more bearable.

What is Red Nose Day?
Red Nose Day is a huge fundraising event organised by UK charity Comic Relief every other year. It originally launched on Christmas Day 1985 aiming to make the public laugh with celebrity sketches and routines while highlighting and raising money for the then crippling famine in Ethiopia. Red Nose Day quickly became a charity telethon bringing together the very best of UK comedy and entertainment for one night of fundraising. The first Red Nose Day in 1988 raised an incredible £15million, and this year Red Nose Day celebrates its 25th anniversary – an amazing achievement!

Since 1988 Red Nose Day has gone from strength to strength raising over £600million to date for those in need in Africa and in the UK, and becoming one of the biggest charity events on the UK calendar. This year’s event takes place on Friday 15th March 2013.

The boys were thrilled to visit Africa with Comic Relief – a trip which turned out to be one of the most amazing and eye-opening experiences of their lives. The group visited projects in Ghana helped by money raised for Red Nose Day, and met the people whose lives have been changed as a result. Now the boys are overjoyed to be able to help people with lives similar to those they met in Ghana, by forgoing any royalties due to them in connection with this charity single. Syco will also donate 100% of its profits from the sale of each CD single and download to Comic Relief.
