We admit we’re pretty excited about One Direction’s cover of “One Way or Another”–and were beyond thrilled to get to hear just a snippet of it.

Hey, we’ll take what we can get (though now we want more, natch).

It’s just 30 seconds, but there’s a lot to look forward to…we can’t wait for the full version of One Direction’s “One Way or Another”!

Sadly, we have to wait until February 17 for the Comic Relief Red Nose Day charity single to be released, but this makes the waiting just a little more bearable.

You can also watch One Direction filming part of the “One Way or Another” music video if this clip just isn’t enough!

Also, 1D will perform the song on the BRIT Awards on February 20.

Yes – the time has come to reveal that the boys have teamed up with UK charity, Comic Relief, to record the official Red Nose Day Charity single! 1D’s unique take on the Blondie classic “One Way or Another” is available for pre-order on iTunes now!*

If you’re in the UK, you can also get your hands on a copy of the Red Nose Day CD single at Sainsbury’s from Monday 18th February 2013. And what’s more – sales of this record will help support the life-changing work of Comic Relief.

What is Red Nose Day?
Red Nose Day is a huge fundraising event organised by UK charity Comic Relief every other year. It originally launched on Christmas Day 1985 aiming to make the public laugh with celebrity sketches and routines while highlighting and raising money for the then crippling famine in Ethiopia. Red Nose Day quickly became a charity telethon bringing together the very best of UK comedy and entertainment for one night of fundraising. The first Red Nose Day in 1988 raised an incredible £15million, and this year Red Nose Day celebrates its 25th anniversary – an amazing achievement!

Since 1988 Red Nose Day has gone from strength to strength raising over £600million to date for those in need in Africa and in the UK, and becoming one of the biggest charity events on the UK calendar. This year’s event takes place on Friday 15th March 2013.

The boys were thrilled to visit Africa with Comic Relief – a trip which turned out to be one of the most amazing and eye-opening experiences of their lives. The group visited projects in Ghana helped by money raised for Red Nose Day, and met the people whose lives have been changed as a result. Now the boys are overjoyed to be able to help people with lives similar to those they met in Ghana, by forgoing any royalties due to them in connection with this charity single. Syco will also donate 100% of its profits from the sale of each CD single and download to Comic Relief.

One Direction ‘One Way or Another’ available to download on iTunes 17th February 2013
*Pre-orders UK only

Those eager to see One Direction’s “One Way or Another” music video, you must watch this behind-the-scenes look at making the video.

In this sneak peek video of the 1D “One Way or Another” music video, Niall, Harry, Louis, Liam and Zayn are seen hard at work in Japan, with their Japanese fans at the ready to respond to their favorite guys.

At one point, listen as the crowd is told, “Remember the lines…because if it’s really good, it will make it into their new video, but if we don’t get it right, we’ll have to do it elsewhere.”

No pressure, guys!

The fans in the audience are even lead in a huge group dance and while the guys have to start and stop often, it’s cool to see what goes into making a music video.

We can’t wait!
