Harry Styles has moved to put an end to rumours surrounding his relationship with Caroline Flack once and for all by announcing he is most definitely single.

The One Direction heartthrob was forced to admit during an interview with a radio station that he is on the market when he and his other bandmates – Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne -were put on the spot.

17-year-old Styles has been linked to the Xtra Factor host Flack, 15-years his senior, since the pair reportedly shared a kiss at an X Factor party.

A string of romantic dinner dates, coy interview chats and even overnight stays at her pad later and neither Harry or Caroline have moved to confirm or deny they are dating.

But in an interview due to be aired at the start of next year, the curly-haired teenager finally decided to stop the gossiping and put his fans out of their misery by revealing he is not dating the leggy 32 year-old.

The revelation came about when Real Radio’s David Heane asked the five boys: ‘Well, I obviously have to ask about love lives and things that are going on so can we go around the group?’

The boys straight away took up the challenge, saying: ‘I’m single, I’m Niall. I’m Louis and I’m not single. I’m Liam and I’m not single. I’m Zayn and I’m single.’

And with the spotlight then firmly fixed on Harry, he was forced to nervously admit: ‘I’m Harry, hello…… Hi……. Hi….. I’m single.’

This news will no doubt come as a blow to Caroline, who was pictured waving him off as she said goodbye to him ahead of the band’s UK tour – kicking off in Wolverhampton on Wednesday night.
The pair parted ways when she dropped him off and was then seen with tears in her eyes as Harry walked away from her car.
