Harry nearly missed out on fame.

One Direction star, Harry Styles reveals that he almost did not become the huge popstar he is today – after coughing up blood in his first ever X Factor audition in 2010 – having felt really under the weather.

Now magazine report the 17-year-old was expected to get up on stage and sing ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ by Stevie Wonder – but it looks like his nerves got the better of him – after he began vomiting and coughing up blood.
Harry was so ill that at the time his parents had to rush him to hospital.

He revealed: “I was really ill and I kept being sick just before I went on The X Factor.

“I remember I kept throwing up and then I got really bad and I started coughing up blood.”

But to the relief of the millions of One Direction fans – Harry was back on the mend and was able to complete his audition after being discharged from hospital.

Though Harry was not given a diagnosis – and till this day still does not know what brought the onset of his vomiting.

He added: “They discharged me.

“But to this day I don’t know what it was.”
